A grandmother in Salt Spring Island, Canada, has bought her daughter and grandson a 2.5-acre plot of land near the coast. Only problem is there’s no house there, and building one from scratch is prohibitively expensive.
That’s where the Nickel Brothers come in. They’ve sold the family a 3-bedroom house for around a fifth of the price of a new build, and will bring the house to the plot. Complicating matters are the fact that the house is 35 miles away and on another island.
The Nickel team must now lift and haul this monster 45-ton house over land and ocean, navigating adjacent homes, road signs, telephone poles and low slung wires in pitch black conditions.
