On the railroad, freight crew George, Wanda and Bill are on their most dangerous delivery job of the Winter. Heading South from Anchorage, they’re hauling their valuable load of coal bound for the port of Seward.

On route they must pass through the most treacherous stretch of track on the Alaska Railroad. Navigating their 10,000 ton freight train through ice encrusted mountain tunnels and facing the dreaded Loop – a perilous stretch of railroad which snakes through the Kenai Mountains, before finally making their decent down to the southern most point on the Alaska Railroad.  With snow blocking their path and broken equipment keeping the tracks shut down, they must rely on the Heavy Equipment team of R.C. and Steve to work fast and clear their path.
