An online music video series fronted by Britain's most controversial political activist and influenced by viewers on YouTube and Facebook.
Channel 4 and Windfall Films have linked up with political activist Jody McIntyre and some of the best artists from the grime/hip hop world to bring you Jody McIntyre’s Bars for Change. These music documentaries will tackle hard hitting political and socially conscious issues that young people are concerned about and will feature artists including Ghetts, Mic Righteous, Durrty Goodz, Logic and DVS.
Born with cerebral palsy, 20-year-old Jody McIntyre’s spirit to fight oppression has taken him all over Britain and as far as the Gaza Strip. Jody’s spirit has also famously seen him put the pressure on reporters on BBC News live.
Windfall Films will be following Jody over the summer as he puts difficult questions to the people in power and creates the soundtrack to your revolution. Each video will feature a different artist, whose lyrics will be inspired by the contributions of young people on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The revolution is coming... and we need your help to write the soundtrack!
